Cohasset just edges out Marshfield (2-3).
Both first and second singles of Jillian Skulsky and Anna Proctor earned points for the rams!
Junior, Kelly Sullivan lost a decision making third set tie breaker at third singles. Her nail biting match lasted almost 2 and a half hours. (6-7) tie breaker (4-7), (6-1), (6-7) tie breaker (4-7).

Finding herself down in the first set, (1-4) Jillian Skulsky at first singles came back with a vengeance to take the first set (7-6) in a tie breaker (8-6). She carried that momentum right into the second set winning (6-0).
First doubles team of Maddie Wildes and Abby Varney played strong and steady beating their opponents (6-4), (6-4); improving their overall record to (4-1).

MARSHFIELD 1 - NAUSET 4
Our MHS Lady Ram's tennis team with a great effort against a tough Nauset team today but fall 1-4.
Earning the only point for Marshfield was first doubles pair of Abby Varney and Maddie Wildes. After losing the first set (4-6), they fought back to win the second set (6-4). They kept the momentum going in the ten point tie breaker (10-6) to win the match. The junior tandem remain undefeated.

MARSHFIELD 4 - SANDWICH 1
Defending ACL Champs, Marshfield Girls Varsity Tennis team won their first league match of the season, 4-1 against Sandwich.
Winning their matches in straight sets were; first singles player, senior Jillian Skulsky (6-2), (6-1), third singles, senior, Lilly Austin (6-4), (6-1), and first doubles team of juniors, Abby Varney and Maddie Wildes (6-4), (6-1).
Anna Proctor, a three year starter at first doubles, is now playing second singles in her senior year. She pulled out a victory in a third set 10 point tie breaker (6-3), (3-6), (10-8)
